Check Me Out

I spent all year training for the marathon of Christmas day. I felt strong for most of the day, only requiring a 45 minute nap to finish it off. I didn't anticipate needing the entire following day to recover. Kim thought a injection of humor would liven things up. She decided to bring back the Starter jacket fashion trend. Why the hell would you revive a trend that needed to die the moment it was born?

Times Up

Kim and I decided to spend Christmas Eve in NYC. A great place to pick up any last minute items. It was a relaxing time for the most part until she realized she had one more important thing to do and no time to get it done.

Today, was a day filled with running around in the cold rain. Not much was accomplished so we decided to head to the boardwalk for some fun and excitement. The wind was howling and the surf was wild so we headed indoors for a game of skill. Kim and I capped the day off with a couple of wicked games of Ski-Ball.

Surf's Up

An ocean always seems to recharge the soul. It's a great thing to be close to. Strong winds and cold temps made things less inviting today. Hope it's warmer on Christmas day.

The Friendly Skies

I got out of SLC without a problem, but that's where the ease of holiday travel ended. Two delays lead to a lot of sitting on a plane waiting to move. At least I had this amazing view for over an hour.

Lil' Herc

The Wasatch Crest has too much snow at this point even for this cycling legend. We'll have to wait until next year to rip the dh, Sly style.
